NOTES ON TICKET SALES
- Tickets can be purchased for the Grandstand and for Stand 2 (see graphic below)
- Rowing clubs can order their tickets directly through the SRV
- “First come, First serve!”
The finish area at the European Championship is only accessible with a valid ticket.
Thursday 30 May 6pm – Europaplatz Lucerne
The athletes of participating nations at the European Rowing Championships 2019 will be received in an official ceremony at the Europaplatz in Lucerne.
This first highlight of the event will be celebrated with a varied mixture of music, imagery and movement.
Musical accompaniment will be provided by the nationally famous bandleader Christoph Walter and the Bürgermusik Luzern Talents Band.

Duration Zurich – Lucerne: approx. 50min.
Take Butzenbüelring until A51. Turn into A4, E41 and A14 until Reusseggstrasse in Ebikon. Leave the motorway at the exit 24-Rotsee and follow Reusseggstrasse, Sedel und Sedelstrasse. Turn into Friedentalstrasse.
Duration Bale – Lucerne: approx. 70min.
Take motorway A3 to Bale. After 4km turn into A2 Lucerne. Leave the motorway at the exit 25-Emmen Süd and follow Reusseggstrasse, Sedel und Sedelstrasse. Turn into Friedentalstrasse.
Duration Geneva – Lucerne: approx. 2,5 hrs.
Take A1 until Oftringen/Rotkreuz. Turn right into A2 Lucerne. Leave the motorway at the exit 25-Emmen Süd. Follow Reusseggstrasse, Sedel und Sedelstrasse. Turn into Friedentalstrasse.
Cross the Bridge ‘Seebrücke’ and use the middle lane, to turn left on the Löwenstrasse, direction Ebikon. Follow Zürichstrasse and turn into the Vallasterstrasse. At the traffic circle turn into the Friedentalstrasse.
There the parking spaces of the Lucerne hospital (Parkplatz Ost) can be used for a daily fee of CHF 5.00. The Lake Rotsee is accessible by foot in less than 5 minutes. The direction is signalised.
