Hollywood Insights: The Life and Career of Jeremy Piven
As the Harvey Weinstein scandal unfolded in 2017, it inspired many women to speak out about their experiences with sexual misconduct and assault. Two new allegations against Piven surfaced in November of that year. An Entourage background actor claimed that Piven grabbed her breasts and genitals, while another woman said she was forced to kiss him at his Los Angeles home in 1995.
Both accusers say they’re disappointed that Piven skirted accountability and took a break from the industry, only to return without an apology or acknowledgment of his wrongdoings. Meador says she still deals with post-traumatic stress from the incident, and that whenever she sees him on screen it makes her physically sick.
